The Great Lake Tahoe Race
Since the Amarillo 42 Green Domino group of friends is having its annual adventure in Lake Tahoe this year, Sept 30 thru Oct 7, it was to be expected that there would be some good-natured rivalry about how different ones would be going, when they would arrive, etc. But the conversation became heated when one of the Republican members of the group proclaimed that, with his driving skills and exceptional automobile, it would be no-contest if anyone were to race him from Amarillo to Lake Tahoe! Several objections were heard, from both fellow Republicans and Democrats, (err..well, Democrat), disputing the claim. When all was said and done, a race was set up. See if you can handicap this race and select the winner!
The Great Race
The race will begin at the intersection of Polk and 10th street in Amarillo, TX and will end at the entrance to the Fireside Lodge in Lake Tahoe, CA. The winner will be determined by which participant can get thru the gate that guards the entrance to the Fireside Lodge first by answering correctly the two questions that appear at the end of the race. It's racetime!!!!!!
